People depend on public services; services depend on people to deliver them.

The outside City workers touch every part of life: they fix and maintain roads, the water collection and distribution system, and public facilities. As well as numerous public  operations including the city landfill and sanitation services, Ice Arenas operations, Waste water and potable water plants, public parks and green space maintenance and parking enforcement. We’re facing tough economic times, and that’s when we need affordable, reliable public services most.
